Appraising Early Reliability of a Software Component Using Fuzzy Inference

(1) Objectives: Reliability is one of the major aspects for enhancing operability, reusability, maintainability, and quality a system. A software component an independent entity that deploys to form functional system (CBSS). The becomes unreliable mainly because errors introduced during its design development; it essential estimate reliability in advance. This research work proposes novel Mamdani Fuzzy-Inference (M-FIS) model components’ provides intuitive solution industry personnel; (2) Scope: technology moves forward from traditional monolithic development scalable, integrated, business-driving applications. Henceforth, proposed paradigm can give preliminary components, helps developers vendors produce at high-quality; (3) Methods: In realization phase, failure data unavailable; hence, designing metrics, inspections, statistical methods, soft-computing techniques are used predict early reliability. present applies soft computing validate metrics. Moreover, estimating premature reduces follow-up effort component-development cost time; (4) Finding: aids project manager better predicting Adopting both expert-based fuzzy inference unsupervised, or self-learning, algorithm basis cross checking, concludes with decision ambivalence state.
